Everything in this hotel took our breath away. Waking up at Cape Weligama was like waking into a dream.

The breakfasts and the food in general was so, surprisingly outstanding that I am now a lot fatter since I have left. I blame the chefs.

Everything about this hotel is a real high class experience. The rooms are spacious and confortables. The reastaurant is very very good, and thanks to the Chef Vinnol everything we tried was delicious! Niranga took care of everything we needed and wanted. All the personal is very professional and helpful. Would come here again for sure!

The extra activities are way overpriced for what they are. Overall it is an overpriced hotel for what you can get elsewhere in Asia. Staff seems to double cover most requests which is better than no coverage but still feels a little disorganised

We loved everything! From the stunning suites to the breath taking views by the halfmoon pool, to the lawn games, and the relaxing massages we indulged in, absolutely everything and everyone exceeded our expectations! The breakfasts are delicious and they’re so accommodating and really go above and beyond to ensure you’re satisfied!

We very so surprised of food quilter. All decies were delicious. Even if you want something and today it is not in menu, they will still try to do it.

I have just returned from 5 wonderful days at the Cape Weligama Hotel. This was a special holiday to celebrate my 50th birthday, my daughter’s 18th birthday and our friend’s 30th birthday. It was my second visit to this beautiful and tranquil place and we could not have asked for anything more to make this a truly memorable and special holiday. The hotel is set in a stunning location over looking the ocean and provides a blissful retreat from both the stresses of every day life and from the hustle and bustle lifestyle of the surfers paradise that surrounds it. We were given an upgrade to a beautiful private villa with swimming pool that we had to ourselves. The staff were attentive without being intrusive and made us feel extremely welcome, confortable and cared for. Our every need and requests were quickly and professionally dealt with from arranging tours to bringing extra towels. Our thoughtful personal manager Venura was discreetly available 24/7 to help us with any query. His service was second to none and he went far above and beyond to ensure that we had a wonderful holiday. The food at this hotel is all prepared on an individual and fresh basis. There is not one buffet in sight! And it is the most delicious food ever. Chef Vinnol personally greeted us every day and we spent a delightful afternoon with him learning to cook Sri Lankan curries and food.... such fun and highly recommended. The hotel organized a delightful special dinner for us to celebrate our birthdays.... in short nothing was overlooked or too much trouble. We came back from this beautiful place rejuvenated, relaxed and very happy that we had chosen it to celebrate our special birthdays in.

This place is incredible, from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave, nothing feels like too much effort for the warm, welcoming and wonderful staff. This was our second time visiting the hotel, the first as a couple and the second as a family with two little children. The staff were exceptional and the facilities were incredible.
